Description and
Card Type: 0 or 5:
The type 0, 1-wire card uses the
DS18S20 IC to measure temperature over the range of -55 to +125
degrees C. The type 5, 1-wire card uses the DS2438 IC to measure
temperature over the range of -40 to +85C. The probe is mounted
inside a radiation shield that can be hung from the ceiling
or a cross arm. The probe can be used to measure indoor or outdoor
temperature for applications such as greenhouse temperature
control.
OWconfig:
The "Type" must be 0 or 5 depending
on what is written on your tag. The "Mode" must be "1-wire power"
for a type 0. The mode can be either "Separate power" or "1-wire
power" for a type 5. For a type 0 temperature probe short pins
1 and 2 of the 1-wire connector (+5V to common pin). The scan
time will be 750 mS per temperature probe.
